Most of this list to me is dog water. They might be titles others enjoy but only 2 stand out to me. This is the lineup for 2021 according to PC Magazine. As always, I will only bring you information from trusted sources. Can you guess the titles I like from this list?
If you guessed Counter-Strike: Global Offensive you don't know me very well. Among all of the world class games out there life is brutal enough. We don't need ultra realistic graphics for modern warfare simulations to practice tactically. My aim as a creator and as a gamer in some sense is to be real life ready if anything goes down. Laugh as you may, but I'd be better in a fight than someone who's never thought to be combat ready like this.
I'm sure this lurks inside the hearts of many. If world war 3 starts and my government drops me on the front lines will I last more than 2 min or just run up to someone to try pump them in the face in a 50/50 chance effort the other person is likely more skilled than I am. No I tend towards more of the artistically inaccurate cartoon worlds for battle play.
Fortnite is at the top of my list for this reason. It may in itself be dog water for all its glitchiness. The build mechanics are an entirely different beast from real warfare. Pieces appear out of thin air that you can climb and edit. You do get some beautiful landscapes, art, colors, and the fact you're eliminated. It is just inside the realities of a lot of war and munitions training simulators while being artistically detached. This is why I love Fortnite as a battle simulation. I might get into what real world battle tactics people learn from Fortnite more another time.

Rocket League and Super Spash Bros Ultimate are on the list?? Having played Rocket League and loved it from the start I'm surprised and delighted to see it on the list. Super Smash Bros is also delightful and seamlessly melds with the fact I play Mario Wii in the stream some times. Would I gravitate towards these and get into their eSports offering?
Time will tell. I'm excited that they are on the list. I am also delighted. Smash Bros costs cash to get into I guess. So that one will have to wait. But, since Rocket League is free and I'm already playing it and enjoying it... all the more reason to take it seriously and go a bit harder there.
