To be Frank, the Joker is one of the worst of comic villains. I like the Joker, but I will never love the Joker. Change my mind.
There are currently 52 DC universes all with their own creative license. So, there is no one version of Joker that is truer than the other. Harley Quinn is not a part of his original story and only started appearing in the 90s. Meaning Joker is a boomber and Harley Quinn is a Millennial.
The recent movies about the Joker I haven't seen but Heath Ledger and Jack Nicholson both did awesome work of the character. It kind of just annoys the hell out of me that a villain isn't defeated after a decade. Either the villain is just that good at what he does or the "hero" is just that bad at their hero job. Mind you Joker is defeated at almost every turn, and is likely a reflection of our battle with our own dual nature.
Batman at one point went so insane he has a real double him. Joker wouldn't exist without batman. This is kind of a cool point though. If some of the most evil people (we perceive evil) exist only because there's someone on the super hero level of good it kind of makes sense. What if YOU becoming super good makes someone become a super evil fan?
True story this has already happened to me on the channel with ZymaPro content. 3 people formed a hate group that is unreasonably bent on being enemies of the channel. Which is funny and dumb at the same time, but they could be my Joker. Let's hope that's not true of life, but it kind of seems to be.
Fortnite has brought Joker into the game and it's a nice skin. I highly favor Poison Ivy more in the bundle. I was looking at what's included and it seems to be appropriately bundle savings priced. That's hella dollars though. If you get a physical copy or buy it in the shop you can use our creator code either way. One way benefits the studio. The other way benefits the giveaway pool. Probably the thing that looses me the most about Joker is that others have become Joker (like Robin was Jokerized in a twist to defeat Batman that backfired, and Batman's mom once became a Joker). I get the appeal of Joker. I like Joker. I just don't love Joker. Others WILL envy you for having the bundle though. In parting I would also say, they should have had his dance with the devil dance emote for in the game.
I would only buy the pack personally for Poison Ivy, as she's the only skin I would seriously play from the pack. Midas Rex and Joker will still get you a lot of clout in the community. My opinion is mine and personal. The community loves the pack and you should probably get it if you love it too. Getting it because others love it and betraying yourself is never a good idea though. Like it or leave it that's a bit about Joker and how I feel about it being in Fortnite as an available skin.
Oh that and we have too damned many crossover skins. I want more uniquely Fortnite universe skins.
