Personally I pay attention to a reasoning of economy of vbucks to long term hype. So like, a rating of vbuck cost to how cool the skin is overall and whether or not that is a long standing definition or a short term popularity. The attitudes of RAF pilots (even in their humblest form) would be very similar to successful competitive Fortnite players. The historical and present appeal of Raptor leaves no doubts in my mind as to why this would be a popular choice. That's not even mentioning the fantasy sides of the styling. Raptor has a full face cover. While the original styling is orange flavoured colouring the full face cover has its own recognizable stereotype. The ski mask and full face cover for warmth and protection also adds anonymity. Many who do not recognize Raptor as an honoured RAF pilot may also think of him as a burglar, a ninja, or someone who otherwise wishes to hide their identity. While the Jonsey character largely is Jonsey because you can recognize his face Raptor is anonymous. The appeal here would then be that people can more easily place themselves in the role of the character. No face is seen. So, any face may be replaced within the imagination and attributed to this character. The sell point is generic and yet iconic in so many ways. Like a uniform, anyone can put on Raptor and imagine that they ARE Raptor; a RAF pilot, ninja, or burglar. Especially now with the darker selectable styles. Having the dark with red highlights style is a good move by epic. Those who understand skins have a tactical advantage by colour know this as well. Black and red are much more difficult to detect while you attack from the shadows. You can play as the iconic and original Raptor, or as the stealthier shadow melding Raptor. Raptor has a stealth rating of 5/5 because of it's dark selectable style. Having selectable styles also balance and add value to the economy of a steep 2000 vbuck purchase. As one of the highest vbuck value purchases it still retains its economic rating because of the added style selections. This character skin is highly iconic and easily recognizable to Fortnite fans. Raptor is one of the most playable and usable male characters. The character has many classic and fantasy dynamics. Raptor has also been featured as a character in story line animations. If you don't play Raptor you will definitely still be pleased to have him a legacy part of your locker.
